Need to Vent

I need to vent really bad about my sister and how she is driving all of us completely nuts!!

My sister moved in with us in September and in the beginning it was great. She helped alot with Riley, helped clean the house, helped the kids with their homework, etc.  Pretty much she bent over backwards to help.  That all went down the tubes once she got her Pell Grant money. She bought her books and her laptop and ever since then, down the tubes we go.

Laundry sits for days before she does anything with it. She asked if she could do the laundry because she likes it. Her words, not mine. She barely does anything with the kids or Riley, barely gets off her butt to do anything at all!  She sits on her butt at the table and watches television on her computer all day long or reads books. She was instrumental in helping ReAnna get her library card back good and active and told ReAnna and Richard she would take ReAnna to the library in exchange she could borrow books on ReAnna's card. So far she has taken her one dang time!! But she goes to the library's website and reserves books(5-10) for herself and some for ReAnna (1-3). She insists she needs to read the books ReAnna orders to make sure they are ok for her to read. When she goes walking with her friends, she leaves early, runs to the library and picks up the books she has requested. She says she barely eats, but inhales food whenever we are not home. The kids tell us all this. For lunch one time she ate a salad from Walmart, a container of cottage cheese and an entire package of salami. For breakfast one time she ate a bowl of cereal, and two homemade Sausage mcmuffins, double meat. She tells us she will only eat one plate of food for dinner, but she overloads it and scarfs it down in less then ten minutes. This past Sunday she ate 5-6 candy bars, full size, in one sitting!  Then she has broken two toliet seats in one bathroom and one in another and asked if we bought defective ones!?!? Does she not realize how big she is? I really do not think so. She squeezes herself into clothes that are a size too small and she thinks she looks good!! She sits in church and reads books on her tab, and she reads those raunchy love stories!!

Richard is at his whits end. She sits at the kitchen table in the middle of our lives and reads or watches her shows on her computer. We have to live around her bump on a log persona. She wants a job, but will only apply for certain types of jobs. When you are unemployed, wouldn't you apply for anything? I would. $8.00 an hour is better then nothing an hour. The kids know that when she is up they can do whatever they want because she is not paying a bit of attention to them.  We told her last night she needs to take the kids once a week to get books from the library and she was speechless. It will happen, especially if she wants to continue using ReAnna's library card. We all got library cards last night, so that they can read this summer and start to like reading. Plus we are looking at a membership to the zoo to go twice a month! Plus we want the kids to be able to ride their bikes to the zoo and she will need to drive Riley down there so she can play also! Richard is going to lay down the law and tell her what is expected of her.
