Well the camping trip turned out to be a disaster! We pulled in to the place that we love to camp at the coast only to find our "spot" taken by a larege group of couples camping there. We pulled into the second spot up there and soon discovered that we lost our spare wheel for the trailer, the gray tank was unhooked and we smashed a propane line. The worst part was that the couples were drinking and getting drunker as the day went on. They started singing drinking songs about 7 and then went on a night hike and then were loud until after 11. Needless to say we went home that next day.
We drove through Moss Landing and picked up two cases of minature artichokes, cauliflower and asparagus at the produce stand we shopped at last time we were up there. We stopped in Los Banos to see my sister and ended up staying for dinner. We went on a church tour with her and convinced her to go to church at her ward. She is investigating still. We drove home got there around 11pm, got up a 6am, left at 7am and went back to Los Banos to go with my sister to church. Very interesting ward. Relief Society was 10 women including me and my sister. They said most of the families were out of town, but it is still a very small ward.
After church we headed home to do our own Easter thing for the kids and then cleaned up the house for my sister and her kids to come down and spend the night. The kids all slept in the camper while the adults got a nice quiet house to ourselves! YEAH!! The funniest part was when my nieces were borrowing pjs from my girls and Christopher loans Zackary a pair of his pajamas. Cute but they were WAY TOO SMALL!!!! He put them on and pretened he was a model. The girls decided to strip him of the pjs, we were all laughing so hard, no one could hear anything.
Monday we weeded the garden and hopefully will get the boxes finished and the seeds planted this week. We took Rachel to where our cafe is going in and to Winco. Decided Rayna can never go to the bulk section at Winco because of the huge chocolate bars. LOL!
That was my weekend, how was yours?
